CRPF: Central Reserve Police Force

CRPF stands for Central Reserve Police Force ( CRPF). This is an armed paramilitary organization that is the biggest Central Armed Police Force in India. CRPF is part of the Ministry of Home Affairs of the Governmentof India. Its main objective is to support the states and union territories governmentsin keeping law and order within their respective territories. Its headquarters are at New Delhi, India. It is the government that India has set up an academy called the CRPR academy to educate new recruits to the CRPF. As of July 2017, Sh Rajeev Rai Bhatnagar is the Director General of CRPF.
